How we scope the work
Structural work should never be guessed. Load paths, existing construction, temporary support and the engineer's specification need to be clear before walls or openings are altered. Where calculations or approval are required, those should be in place before the structural stage begins.

Do structural alterations need an engineer?
Many do. Whether calculations are required depends on the change and the existing building. We do not replace the role of a structural engineer where engineering design is needed.
Can you create a larger opening between rooms?
Potentially, subject to the existing structure, design and any required approvals.
Do you make good after structural work?
Associated brickwork, plastering, carpentry and finishing can be included in the agreed scope.
